Gang Sheet
Group several designs on a single sheet and pay for the space, not the number of designs.
Available in DTF, UV DTF and sublimation.
What is a gang sheet?
A gang sheet is a large transfer sheet on which several designs are laid out side by side. It can be ten different logos, the same design repeated twenty times, or a mix of both.
So it isn't a printing process, it's a way of ordering. The logic is simple: you pay for the film area used, not for the number of designs on it. A single design on a sheet costs the same as a sheet filled to capacity.
You receive the printed sheet, cut out each design and apply them as you need them. It's the most economical way to produce a run of custom items, especially when every design is different.
Three sizes available
DTF — 30" wide
For apparel: cotton, polyester, blends, any fabric colour. The sheet length is up to you.
UV DTF — 24" wide
For rigid objects: glass, metal, plastic, ceramic. Minimum size 12" × 20".
Sublimation — 17" wide
For light-coloured polyester and specially coated items: mugs, bottles, plaques, sportswear.
Why order a gang sheet?
The cost per design drops
The fuller the sheet, the less each design costs. That's the whole point of a gang sheet: nothing is wasted on empty space.
Every design can differ
No minimum per design. Twenty employee names, ten client logos or one single large image: same sheet, same price.
A stock to draw on
Transfers keep. Have your sheet printed once, then apply the designs as orders come in, without going back through production.
Good to know
How do I set up my sheet?
How do I set up my sheet?
Place your designs at their actual print size, leaving about half an inch between each one for cutting.
Keep a small margin at the edges of the sheet. Group the designs toward the top rather than scattering them: empty space at the bottom is space you paid for.
What files should I supply?
What files should I supply?
A vector file (AI, EPS, PDF) or a high-resolution image — 300 dpi minimum, at actual size.
For DTF and UV DTF, a PNG with a transparent background is ideal: only the design is printed, with no outline or white background.
You can send us your designs separately and we'll handle the layout, or supply the sheet already assembled.
Can I mix processes on the same sheet?
Can I mix processes on the same sheet?
No. Each process has its own film, its own ink and its own print width. A sheet is therefore entirely DTF, entirely UV DTF, or entirely sublimation.
Nothing stops you from ordering one sheet of each type for the same project, though.
Do I have to cut the designs out myself?
Do I have to cut the designs out myself?
Yes, the designs arrive grouped on the sheet and are cut out with scissors before application. That's what makes a gang sheet so economical.
A rough cut is enough for DTF and sublimation. For UV DTF, follow the outline a little more closely, since the film is applied as is.
What equipment do you print on?
What equipment do you print on?
Our sheets are produced on professional equipment: a Mimaki TxF150-75 for DTF (up to 30" wide), a Toyoda Falcon UV DTF for transfers onto rigid objects (24"), and an Epson SureColor F570 for sublimation (17" sheets).
That's what lets us guarantee consistent colour from one sheet to the next, even months apart.
